***

JL ACADEMICS is a multi-disciplinary academic advisory service offering secondary school tutoring, standardized exam coaching, and undergraduate college admissions counseling to a global clientele of young scholars.

JL ACADEMICS is headed by Jonathan Laurence, author of 5 Practice Tests for SAT Math, honors graduate of Williams College, former Wall Street investment banker, and a 10-year veteran of the American college admissions landscape, who has helped students of all backgrounds gain admission into Ivy+ US colleges and universities, including Stanford, Harvard, Princeton, UPenn, Williams, Brown, Amherst, Vanderbilt, Georgetown, and many more.

Jonathan Laurence is consistently celebrated for his ability to connect, encourage, and inspire his students — and, above all, for producing results well-above those at larger companies.

SAT/ACT

Jonathan worked with energy, enthusiasm, and diligence, connecting with our son in a way we found refreshing and genuine. Not only did Jonathan help raise our son’s SAT score over 200 points, but he consistently shared valuable and reliable resources from his own experience as a scholar-athlete, even putting our son in contact with current students and alumni at the colleges he was targeting. We are immensely thankful to Jonathan for his guidance.

Jonathan was prompt, communicative, and consistently professional in his work with our daughter. Not to mention effective — he helped raise [Emily’s] ACT score to a perfect 36. Emily then decided to work with Jonathan further on her college essay. We are so proud of her. We recommend Jonathan without reservation.
